You set your hourly rate when creating your profile and can adjust it at any time. Consider the age and number of children, your tasks, your experience and the usual level in your region. Discuss the rate openly with the family before the first booking — it saves both sides surprises.

Yes — Premium cancels monthly. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month; you keep all benefits until then.

That depends on your personal situation — for example whether you babysit as a mini-job, short-term employment or self-employed side activity. In principle, income from babysitting can be taxable. For a definitive answer, contact your tax office or a tax advisor.

Your profile is publicly visible so families can find you. Your contact details are protected: your e-mail address, street and surname are never public, and only families with a paid membership can see your phone number. Enquiries go through our internal messaging system.

Keep your profile complete and up to date: a friendly photo, a personal introduction text and well-maintained availability make the biggest difference. Reply quickly to messages and apply actively to requests. With Premium you additionally appear higher in search results.

A certificate awarded after completing a babysitting course. Course content covers infant care, first aid, supervision duties, child development and playful activities. Courses cost around €15–40 and take about 16 hours.

Yes. You can temporarily deactivate your profile or permanently delete your account. You’ll find both under Settings > My profile.

With identity verification you confirm your identity using an official document. Your profile receives a trust seal that families see immediately — that builds trust, and you get booked sooner. Verification is part of the Premium membership.

Meet the family together with the parents first — ideally at their home. Clarify the essentials up front: the children’s routines and rituals, emergency contacts, tasks and pay. And trust your gut: if something feels off, it’s fine to decline.
